Anyone been to the Alice on West End Lane yet? Any good? Might head over there soon but no idea what it's like...saw a pic, looked just like another fancy wine bar, dressed up as a London boozer...

Went from Cane to Eclipse and now is the Alice. They were completely disorganised when they first opened but seemed to have sorted themselves out now. The highlight is the outside deck - book a table in advance and it is a good place to have a drink. Still have a few teething problems with the food - what they serve up is pretty good but menu is limited. In conclusion definately worth a visit.

I haven't eaten there but the food looks OK. The atmosphere is nice. The drinks are good. I tend to go there every once in a while.

Nice list of wines and very smart. Seems to have latched onto a gastropub theme going by prices, which is OK as long as the food is of an appropriate calibre. Sometimes hard to know where to eat on West End Lane as the choice is so good in terms of decent food!

It's got a nice atmosphere. The downside is that they insist on doing table service which would be fine if the staff were attentive, but often you end up sitting there with empty glasses for half an hour desperately trying to get someone's attention!
